We are looking to appoint an experienced chartered surveyor as our rent review consultant on a part-time, self-employed basis.
You will be supporting our variety of clients who operate a wide ranging portfolio of commercial properties spanning the entire spectrum from retail and warehouse units to restaurants, offices and medical premises.
You will be managing rent reviews on a case by case basis liaising with our landlord and tenant clients to provide professional and trustworthy advice and delivering timely outcomes.
We are looking for a highly experienced chartered surveyor who is happy to manage their own workload and can establish a good rapport with our clients from day one. Building and maintaining good relationships with our repeat business clients is essential. You will be a self-starter, highly competent, confident in your area of expertise and comfortable working independently.
The position would suit a semi-retired chartered surveyor who isn’t ready to put their feet up just yet or someone who is looking to juggle family or other commitments with a professional position. Whatever your reason for looking for a part-time role, we want to hear from you. We are flexible and open-minded so if you have specific working pattern in mind, please talk to us.
The position is remunerated on a fee share basis for each task assigned. Currently, our rent review consultancy workload averages one day a week but we are actively seeking more rent review instructions when the workload will increase accordingly.
We're a commercial property practice located in Kingston Upon Thames providing services throughout South West London and neighbouring counties, particularly Surrey. As chartered surveyors, we are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered @Surveryors (RICS), delivering the highest levels of professionalism and expertise.
